Boxes of print photos and albums:
23 storage boxes of loose prints, old photo albums, 35mm slides and negatives spanning over 100 years.

35mm slides:
40-plus years of 35mm slides in slide carousels and 20 years of VHS-c video tapes.
Print and digital photos:
Five (5) years of print and digital photos from multiple devices and sources. Photos in no particular order and large number of duplicate photos taking up space and creating confusion.
Digital photos from multiple devices:
35,000+ digital photos collected from multiple devices, spanning over 12 years. Images had been stored in over 200 different folders/directories in no particular order.

Sorted all prints by year and month. Scanned and printed all 35mm slides and negatives. Removed all duplicates and unwanted photos. Selected the best photos from each year and created 3 digital photo books and 10 traditional photo corner albums. For each album, provided scans of the photos on a DVD in the back of each album. Provided entire scanned collection on two USB flash drives for safe keeping.
Sorted all slides by date and labeled slides with name and year taken. Scanned all slides, transferred to acid-free slide sheets. Provided print reference of all slides and copies of all scans on a DVD and USB flash drive. Also transferred all VHS-c video tapes to digital video. Edit videos to separate each individual event and create a separate video file for each event so they can be found and viewed easily. Provided videos on DVD and USB flash drives. Presented as a gift to each child.
Scanned all prints and sorted all scans and digital photos by date. Removed all duplicates. Edited photos to select the best photos for albums. Created one album for each year. Provided all scans and digital photos on a DVD at the back of each book, and on a new external hard drive for back up.
Sorted all digital photos by date. Renamed each file starting with the date taken (see right). Removed all duplicates and edited photos from each year to select the best photos and make viewing easier. Provided photos back to client on a new external hard drive in folders by year, with annual selects and videos put into separate folders.
Video tapes:
Over twenty (20) old VHS, VHS-c and 8mm video tapes that can no longer be viewed using modern technology. Each tape was unlabeled and contained multiple events on a single tape.
Converted all tapes to digital video files. Separated, dated and labeled individual events for easier viewing. Provided all videos on both DVD and flash drives for viewing through a DVD player or USB port (on computer).
